Nbc

This is how some of these left wing zombies are created. They come home and stick funnels in their ears and turn on the TV to watch NBC news and along comes a dumptruck full of hour long crap and dumps it into that funnel so they become ACLU loving anti-americans.

Yeah, it's much better to have FOX telling you that we're winning the war and global warming is still a theory. Why don't you go read a book.

As opposed to, say, the president of the Weather Channel writing, "It is the greatest scam in history. I am amazed, appalled and highly offended by it. Global Warming; It is a SCAM"?

Weather Channel boss calls global warming 'the greatest scam in history'

Newsflash: Some of us don't live in an echo chamber. But perhaps you could tell me how the UK-based Telegraph is also the Fox News Channel at the same time.

Read a book? Kettle, meet Pot.

Global warming hoax?

Here is what the guy you voted in says now:
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/relea...0010611-2.html

Are you going to trust the president of the weather channel over the President of the good ol' US of A? Don't be a traitor. Support our troops. Wait, troops don't have anything to do with it. Oh well, I must have learned that argument style somewhere.

I love old press releases from 2001, don't you?

Causation is the issue, not whether or not anything is warming. That's how Kyoto was "fatally flawed" according to the exact same thing you linked.

When one speaks of global warming in the general sense, one is usually referring to human causation.

Ninja R, Well stated. Humans do not have any influence with regard to solar activity. I hope I am alive 30 years from now to ask, why is NYC still not under 20 feet of water.

Why did bush ask this question?

In the speech linked Bush states
"Kyoto also failed to address two major pollutants that have an impact on warming: black soot and tropospheric ozone. Both are proven health hazards. Reducing both would not only address climate change, but also dramatically improve people's health."

So those two pollutants have an "impact" on warming. That is a nice way to say that they help CAUSE warming.

So your statement

"Causation is the issue, not whether or not anything is warming. That's how Kyoto was "fatally flawed" according to the exact same thing you linked.

is wrong. He said the Kyoto accords were unfair towards the Developed world and basically gave developing countries a pass (think economic advantage). The other main point is that the goals were unfocused and unrealistic.
