The TV channel, like the website, has news programs, and programs commenting on the news, like the website.

The difference between Fox and the other alphabet news programming is, Fox says their commentators offer the commentators opinion. The others offer it as journalism and news.

Fox assumes the reader/ listner can see/ hear opinion and evaluate it as such. The others do not, and too often offer their editorial comments as hard news. Ommision is another way the major networks control news. The surge has worked as intended. By all accounts, it has been wildiy successful, and has laid the way for political reconcilation between the factions in Iraq.

Speaking of NBC

NBC and it's sister networks (MSNBC, CNBC, etc.) are refusing to air ads asking people to thank the troops and remember them this holiday season.

The ads are sponsored by freedomswatch.org and mentions their website. The site being mentioned is the premise for their refusal.

It must be a 'brave new [liberal] world' we live in when a simple thank you for those in service to US is considered too radical for consumption.

edit 1:
Here are the wascally wadical groups that have the audacity to organize and thank the troops at freedoms watch.org:
http://www.adoptaplatoon.org
AnySoldier.com
Books For Soldiers - Care Packages For The MInd
Give2TheTroops - Supporting Deployed U.S. Troops With Care Packages
Move America Forward
OperationHomeFront.net - Supporting Our Troops by Helping the Families They Leave Behind.
Operation: Care and Comfort, Santa Clara Valley Red Cross
Operation Care Package
Operation Troop Aid
Operation Gratitude - Welcome to Operation Gratitude
Soldiers' Angels - Home
USOCARES.ORG

edit 2:
This one just burns me...
The thought police are alive and well at NBC. A true example of liberalisms best "we support the troop", but we don't support the troops. They have no concept of service, selfless service, or what it takes to fight and quite possibly die for a cause you may not support. They do this simply because it was asked of them, and they believe in something larger than self.

I think I'm done now, but reserve the right to come back.

I never mentioned anyone specifically having BDS. Someone must have realized their illness. And I never said anyone had the intelligence of a cinder block, I said trying to make them see another's point of view is like talking to a cinder block.

Example:
liberal democRAT: blah blah, Hate Bush, Blame America, blah, blah, racist Republicans, blah, blah.

Conservative: President Bush is defending America, we didn’t deserve our city of New York attacked, I am multi-racial, which race do you think I hate?

Cinder Block: No Response

liberal democRAT: blah blah, Hate Bush, Blame America, blah, blah, racist Republicans, blah, blah.

In other words, they are stubborn, hard headed, intolerant unless you agree with them. It isn’t that they don’t understand, they do. And again, I never mentioned anyone specifically. Maybe someone needs to see this again ().

Ummm, poor liberal democRATS, if they didn’t hate their country so much I’d actually feel sorry for them.

I love this "you hate your country" train of argument. It makes you sound so reasonable, intelligent, compassionate, literate and tolerant of other points of view. Please keep posting your moronic BS, it helps me retain my beliefs. Thank you.

More NBC...

(Pat Dollard | Young Americans | Blog Archive » Video: Newt Bodyslams NBC - Calls For Boycott For Non-Support Of Troops)

NBC is so far left that they can't even support the troops by airing a thank you message. They are democRAT to the core.

The common people, unlike those in OR. will boycott NBC for this one. They will lose many more of the few viewers that they already had. Give it time.

democRATS have dug themselves in with the extreme left. Their media (NBC,ABC,CBS,CNN,etc.) will be a major force in this years political season for sure, but in reality (where most Americans reside), the traditionalist, the patriot, the God fearing American will emerge.

We still may lose to the democRATS in the election, but WE WILL EMERGE!

But as the realist that I am, I think we will win and I just can't wait until these primary elections are done so I know who I am campaigning for on the GOP side.

You are really a broken record of slogans aren't you "democRATS blah blah blah, extreme left Blah Blah blah. Republicans good." If you ever had an original thought it died of lonliness a long time ago.
