Obama's choice to fill the vacant seat on the Supreme court is yet another prize decision on his part. Sonia Sotomayor is obviously chum thrown into the political arena, if this lady gets appointed it will be a sad day for this country. She is apparently under investigation for discrimination and she tried to bury the case so it would be dropped or forgotten. She has had 6 of her rulings brought before the present Supreme Court and 5 of those got overturned. I'm thinking that Obama is just pitching her name out so he can later say that the few conservatives in the senate are being difficult.

Pretty much. Bush(pbuh) did the same thing with Harriet Myers. It's just a way to sound out the depth and organizational abilities of the political opposition.

In other words, I'm not expecting a Hell of a lot of fight from the Republicans.

It isn't going to make a real big difference in the make up of the court, whomever Barry picks is just filling a lib seat anyway. I must say that if she gets appointed it would be a sad testimony to just how far the values have swung to the left in this country.

I think it does matter who the C.I.C.(constantly inhaling crack) picks for the court. I will protest most vociferously and angrily during and after the Senate hearings considering her nomination. We've been forced to swallow a lot of dirt from this new half assed administration, but accepting a flat out stupid racist b!tch for a Supreme seat is where I draw the line.

This traitorous P.O.S. needs to be arrested, not confirmed...unless it's a confirmation of her committal to an insane asylum.

Wood shed? Damn it man I'm turning 40 today have a little compassion or sympathy whichever your most comfortable with. I agree I think that she should be jailed and she may still be, or at least disbarred or what ever it is they do to naughty judges. Somebody filled charges of discrimination against her a while back and as far as I know its still a open case, but she did try to bury it. I personally think the entire judicial system is corrupt with power hungry activist judges.

Yes the Supreme Court ruled last week that this nominee is a Bigot. The next question is will it make a difference, and where the hell is the outcry for her to withdraw herself from the nomination.

Yep! I'm back at this thread again to say even as sinical as i am i've been smacked down good this time. I never would have thought that she could be appointed but i stand corrected. When will we get some people with anything that could be mistaken for common sense in office to represent us average shmucks. May the Lord Jesus have mercy on this wicked and perverse nation.
