I can't believe it...I'm speechless. First off, I'd like to thank American JesusTm, thank you Lord! Next, my beautiful wife...where are you baby? We did it together! Oh lawdy! Also, all those citizens who stuck with us for the season...this one's for you people! I'm just happy this is finally over. We worked hard, we worked together...and it all came together at the end..and WE DID IT!!! WHOO HOO!!!!!11

Citizens of New Orleans: The best Citizens that any town could wish for. This is your first new mayor in eight years.

This great accomplishment happened because we are blessed to have smart and talented citizens, a brilliant, tireless adviser and his entire staff; and a great police department led by Warren J. Riley.

New Orleans is the great leveler of all politics.

And the Mayors Race is the highest form of competition.

Competition is the foundation of what made this country great.

And I am proud that we were able to win this Mayors race stressing team, and not individual accomplishment.

ON EDIT: Wow! So many emails! Yeah, I know the man's a Democrat, and the son and brother of some other democrat tools. However, this is the best we could do. I mean, have you ever lived in that town? I have, and frankly, I'm happy.
