Aw, hell, that ain't no introduction. Let me do this the right way.
I am a conservative. Some might say "Evil" conservative, but only those who know my black heart. (Mrs. E doesn't know my black heart, so to her I'm merely "a conservative".)
Anyway, I have fostered my political persuasion from seeing and experiencing first hand the sheer, unadulterated, absolute insanity that is liberalism. Y'see, I spent a large chunk of my life associated with Uncle Sugar and seeing as how Uncle Sugar is really Uncle Tom what with all the "diversity" and "racial quotas" and hiring practices that only a drooling idiot who camps out in his mommy's basement would love, well, let's just say that I object to that school of political thought.
They just don't think. They have their hands out, expecting handouts and special favors just because they've learned through our government that it's perfectly normal to stand there with your hand out. Somebody will come along, some working joe who pays his taxes, buys his corn flakes, and mows his lawn, and will drop a few bucks into it.
Why? Because the working joe feels that he's been blessed, as indeed he has.
The workin' joe knows independence, understands freedom, and relishes the idea of self-determination. He doesn't have much in the form of material wealth, but what he does have is well-cared for and shipshape. He knows what it's like to have to pony up hard-earned dollars for what he has and respects the value of money. He also recognizes pimps, charlatans, and those who sponge from others. Those people he would loathe, but his church tells him that it's best to acknowledge one's blessings and give, so give he does.
Of the time I spent workin' for Uncle Sugar with a uniform on my back, I also witnessed first hand socialism in all its regal splendor. I saw the ineptness, the graft, greed, and corruption, and I saw how civil servants who are supposed to serve instead are served by those who pay them. I saw tax structures and rates that cripple entrepreneurship and make it oh-too-easy to just give up and go on the public dole. I witnessed those who openly declared they would rather take from the government than provide for themselves.
This is the antithesis of what this nation was founded on. This kind of thought process is frightful in its duplicity and its lies. The people who practice this "lifestyle" are morally dead, lazy scumsucking leeches who gleefully kill off their host before falling off the corpse to find another victim to sponge from.
Personal pride and the sense of accomplishment is utterly devoid in these vermin, except where and how they manage to stave off common sense and doing the right thing.
I am a musician. I have done many things in my professional life, but I am foremost a musician. I no longer do it for a living, but that does not stop my passion for the rigors and the discipline of creating order out of acoustic chaos. I play four instruments well enough to have done it professionally, but do it today for the pleasure and because my skills are gifts from God.
I am also a linguist. I spent enough time in Germany to speak it fluently and long enough to dream in that language.
I was in Berlin while the Wall was up, as it fell, and the aftermath called Reunification. There are many who would say to put the damned Wall back up. Socialism has overrun the Continent - not just the western socialism cancer that now threatens our country, but the evil, rotting type of socialism that was and is a part of communism.
I have seen communism. I have seen its despair and futility. And yet there are those who are so monumentally stupid as to deny the relationship between socialism and communism. These are the people who should know better and do, but they have found comfort in their deception and lies.
And the people pay their taxes and decry the system, but accept that which they're told because The Government Knows Best.
The lies will be revealed one day. Of that I am certain.
And I will be here.
