A question for Political Historians.

In light of Al Gore's endorsement of Barack Obama for President I ask this:

Has any political candidate ever survived an Al Gore endorsement and won office in spite of it, or is it always the kiss of death?

I suppose you could say Fat Al endorsed Clinnochio twice. And unfortunately he won twice.

He likely endorsed the DF peanut farmer. Otherwise all others were losers.

fascinating Q&A

I wonder why more people aren't tuning in.

The endorsement that will be more damaging is GW's endorsement of McSame.
